Identifab Industries Limited was established in 1969 by John Purnell, a knowledgeable professional with over 23 years of experience in the nameplate business. Identifab began manufacturing nameplates for its first customers in a small industrial unit north of Toronto, Canada.

The company started out with just a few employees, however; as our customer base expanded, we acquired a larger facility. The quality of our products earned us an excellent reputation in the industry and thus helped us become the successful nameplate business we are today.

In 1986, Identifab Industries was relocated to our present site. This 18,500 sq. ft. facility allows us to accommodate our continually growing business and to provide a wider range of products.

Throughout our history, we have been constantly upgrading our equipment and software to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the business and to stay ahead of the competition.
